The Thrill of Victory

Today I am one proud coach..My Destination Imagination team placed second in state finals and have earned the privelege of representing New Hampshire at Global Finals to be held in Knoxville Tennessee at the end of May.
They were also recognized with a special award for thier effort and design of a complex machine which they intergrated into thier performance with ease. We did go out and celebrate after the all day event. I had planned weeks ago to take the day off from the eating program and boy did I.
I sampled some foods and drinks that I had ALMOST forgotten how they had tasted. I had a great time, but awoke with a headache this am and thought that perhaps I overdid my "hiatus". But that was yesterday and today is now and I am 100 percent back on track.
So it looks like I still have a few challenges left this month, my son's graduation from college is fast approaching( three weeks) and now I have to add a week in Tennessee staying in a dorm and eating college cafeteria food...this could be interesting....I know that before I go I will have planned what I am going to do.
Challenges sure make life interesting, don't they?
