Today was one of the days I chose to take a" hiatus". My 16 yo daughter was confirmed this evening. After church we went to her favorite restaurant (which just happens to be mine as well) to celebrate her day with her and a few friends.
I did eat off plan, I had a prime rib..baked potato and salad, a few bites of an appetizer and drank diet coke and water. The meal was great, the company and conversation even better. I do not feel guilty and I am ready to start back on program.
This was my choice. Had it been another time on a different plan, I prolly would have convinced myself to eat whatever I wanted all day long, Today I stayed on plan until we went to dinner, had dinner, came home and was back on plan. I really LOVE being in control, being able to make choices regarding food, and then move on.
I have learned alot in regards to food and myself these past few months. I thank God for having found this way of life..
I did post a pic of us tonight...the only member missing is my son, John whose college is an 18 hour drive from home and he could not make the celebration.
The love and pride I feel towards my family can not be measured in words. I am truly blessed..
