You know, sweetie, you really don't have a long way to go. What you have is today. You have today to go. You are going to go through each day, one day at a time, no matter what else you are doing. All you have to do is focus on today. Today, try to stay  on plan. Today, drink your water. Today, journal. Today! That's all, just today!

When the tasks at hand seem soooo monumental...so far in the future.. one has to stop and realize that  today is all there is...what happened yesterday is gone...what the future holds....no one knows... but to make your dream a reality start with the moment...be the best that you can be.  You can even break it down smaller ..somedays I have to go from meal to meal and remind myself that I can eat in 21/2 hours... anyone can hold off that long if they really want to...Last year when I started I had to look at the moment...when one has over 100 pounds to lose, it seems like it just won't happen....but taking a day at a time really makes it seem easier.  Remember time will pass despite what you do...might as well be thinner a few months down the road.
I have left lean living and am back on the program, I started back on January 1, 2003  because I had gained ten pounds and felt out of control. I am on my third day.. I have stayed on plan, drank the water and exercised...and it feels wonderful.....I know I can do this for the next six weeks.....
