It has been a long time since I have written in my journal....been out having too much of a good time. We got back from Belize and what a blast it was. The island was incredible, we stayed in a thatched casita right on the beach, it was breathtaking ...even better than the tropical island was the time spent with Ed ....away from the every day worries and concerns... the two of us together...... He makes me smile...laugh... giggle...He completes me...
Approximately two years ago, Ed told me to start looking for a place to go for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. So it took me less than a minute to start researching. We both love the ocean and warm weather So I knew what direction to take. I remember thinking it will be wonderful to take a trip to an exotic island and spend time with Ed ...and I also remember thinking it would be just perfect if only I were thin...I hadn't even found the Michael Thurmond Six Week Body Makeover then...and little did I know that the dream of being thin would be a reality....
Do I think it changed our vacation by being thin??? You bet it did!! We walked for miles, parasailed,cave tubed, hiked in the jungle, explored Myan Ruins, snorkeled, kayaked, horeback rode, biked, sailed,swam, and never once was I too unfit or tired to do so; nor did I ever feel uncomfortable in a bathing suit in front of others. All this was a miracle for me, for when I first planned the trip I could not have participated in many of the activities I mentioned as I was too obese and physically not capable... I am certainly reaping the rewards of this program ...
Sometime in the near future I will be putting together a picture page of our trip and will put a link to it on my homepage. I love you Ed and thanks for the time of my life...when we going back?????
