It was one of those mornings! Started with getting out in the bitter cold to drive Kara to school and she had used the car last night, So I asked her for the keys, she couldn't find em in her book bag, so while she went back into the house to search, I froze.. She came back out, hadn't found them, so we switched to another car and as I was driving her( ten minute ride and home room bell was in 6 minutes)it dawned on me that I had left the asparagus cooking. I was more than halfway to school, so I continued with the pedal to the metal, basically pushed her out and turned and drove at a much faster pace than am used to. Thinking the whole way... Ed will kill me if he comes home from Korea to a burned down house.. I hopped out of the car, slipped on the ice as I was running up the walk, dashed in the house and there the asparagus were on the stove, the burner off. I think I must have burned some xtra calories doing all that.
On my way to work, I was thinking about how much I have missed Ed( spaceman). I started this webpage the day he left for Korea, that was three weeks ago. There is a slight chance he may be heading home Friday, but he wont know that until Thursday night..I pulled up at work, went in and the secretary had a large beautiful sweetheart bouquet on her desk.. I told her they were beautiful and she said I am glad you like them....they are for you..
Ed had sent them to me....yes indeed it was a morning!! God how I miss and love him..He is the best.
