Many of us live busy, busy lives these days. When first I started
this plan in October 2001, I was working full time as a nurse, coaching for 25 hours a week(some Saturdays) my daughter was
in High School and living at home which meant I had to also include the"family" thing.
So how was I ever going to find the TIME to eat six times a day, and exercise?
It wasn't easy, but I was determined to lose weight. I had to plan ahead.
That meant knowing what I was going to eat ahead of time. Bulk cooking and planning my exercise.
I ended up cooking my on plan meals on Saturdays , so that all I had to do
was heat my meals up when I needed to eat. I would cook my family a "regular dinner" and I would heat my prepared
meal in the microwave.
I decided that the only time that exercise would work for me was to get up and
be at the gym at 5am to workout. It really does sound worse than it was. After awhile one gets into a routine
and even getting up at 4:30 isn't so bad.
My life is a bit different now. I have no kids living at home, I work part
time(and am loving it)and my husband has been doing an incredible amount of travelling with work.
So this time around, I am again cooking in bulk, but I now go to the gym anywhere
from 7 am to 10 am depending on my schedule. Although sometimes I have to force myself to get into my work out clothes
and get to the gym, I keep reminding myself that it soo much more flexible than it was when I had no choice but to get
to the gym at the crack of dawn.
So goals are reached by finding the time . If it is something you are passionate
about, then there is no doubt in my mind you can find the time. Afterall aren't you worth the effort. Go now and
find the time to eat and live healthy.
