On The road again
September 24,2003

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

The months certainly fly by.. It is already September and time to get back on track.  Our summer was fantastic( all but the weather). It is now fall and things are all settling into place.

Ed is back at work having taken six weeks off.  Kara has started her senior year in high school... Such fun doing college applications..hopefully we will all live through it. John and Becky are living and working in Vermont..and well me?

I have started my new business, it is going slow but it is going.  I love all the free time I have.. I have been out frolicking in the freedom.  Just came back from a weekend canoe trip with 6 other women.. talk about fun.  We canoed 14 miles, set camp up on a beach on the river..it is wilderness camping... you just canoe until you find a spot to make your camp. The picture on this home page is where we ended up staying.

I knew sooner or later reality had to set in.  Some people( smart ones) use a five pound leeway with their weight..but heck I have always liked a challenge so I now have fifteen pounds to get off to be back to my lowest point.  When I came into the summer I was up ten from my lowest of last year..and managed to creep on another five... to some it may seem like nothing but to me it certainly does.

I started back on plan on Monday so this is really my third day.  I have been 100 percent on program and going to the gym daily.

It is time to set sail once again,to where my dreams are reality.

Maryam, If you are reading this, thank you..asking your questions in my guestbook prompted me to start journaling once again.
